After each round of dealing, a betting interval occurs. Each player may check, raise, or fold. When all but one player has folded, the round ends. However, if more than one player remains in contention, the pot continues to be contested.

The final betting round is known as the showdown. When a showdown occurs, the players’ hands are shown to the other players. Typically, the lowest possible hand is 7-5-4-3-2 in two or more suits.
