Poker is a card game where the aim is to have the best hand possible. Each player gets two cards and the table receives five. Each player bets once, and then the cards are revealed. Poker is played with any number of players. However, the optimal number is six to eight. The pot is the total of bets made by the players during one hand. A player can win the pot by having the best poker hand or by making a bet that no other player calls.
