A player in first-to-act position sits directly to the left of the big blind and the button. A player with a high hand is in the lead. The rest of the players in the game will act in turn. Players are then dealt cards and face-up after the final round of betting. When the board is dealt, players may bet an additional low-denomination chip to create a “kitty” that is used to buy food and new decks of cards.
