A pot splits between the highest and lowest hands. Usually, it will award the pot to the highest hand. Other poker variations may award the pot to the lowest hand.

One common variation of the game is the Three-card Brag. It is a game that evolved from the Primero. It is still very popular in the U.K. Today.

The rules vary from place to place. For example, in Texas Hold’em, a 52-card English deck is used. Depending on the number of players, the number of cards used is also different.
