Poker is a card game in which players make bets against each other. The game is played with any number of players, but ideally there are between six and eight people. In this variant, the players receive seven cards. Players begin by placing ante amounts in the pot. After the antes and blinds have been placed, the cards are dealt to each player. Each player can use one card from his hand and four cards from the table to create the best hand possible. When the players are done with the drawing, the next round of betting takes place.

During betting rounds, players must raise or fold the chips equivalent to the previous bet. Once the betting round is complete, the winner is determined.
