The objective of the game of Poker is to win the pot, the sum of the bets made by all players during a hand. Players wager in hopes of forming the best hand and convincing their opponents to fold. If they don’t know, they should check the ante and bluff.

If there is a tie, the odd chip will go to the player who has the highest hand. If two players have a tie, the pot will be split as evenly as possible. The player with the highest card by suit receives the odd chip. The player with the highest hand gets the higher chip. If two players tie, the pot will be split according to the cards in the hand. This is an important part of Poker because it can lead to a significant difference in the amount of winnings.
